Richard Thacker, DO, FACOI
Dr. Thacker obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from theUniversity of Florida. From there, he went on to earn a Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University, followed by an Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Delaware Valley Medical Center. Upon completion, he established a Family Medicine practice here in Tallahassee.
Dr. Thacker's experience includes serving as Medical Director for rehabilitation, hospice, and home health care organizations, as well as serving as Associate Professor at the Florida State University College of Medicine. He has served in a number of leadership roles at Capital Regional Medical Center, ranging from Chair of the Department of Medicine to Vice Chair of the hospital's Board of Trustees.
